To establish new service for water, sewer & garbage, you will need to complete an application:

  • Copy of your driver's licsense
  • If you are renting: a copy of your rental or lease agreement
  • If you own the home: a copy of your closing disclosure/settelement statement
  • There is also a deposit required: $100 for homeowners, $150 for renters

The water department is located in City Hall (240 Carrollton St.) and is open from 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m. If you have questions about setting up service, please call: 770-562-3369 Ext. 107.

The non emergency number is: 770-830-5911. This number goes straight to dispatch, just like 911. When you call let them know it is not an emergency.  You can also come to the Police Department, this way the officer is logged while helping you.

First-time registrants, go to:

The City of Temple does allow citizens to rent space at the Senior Center and Recreation Department.

Field 8, our Multi-purpose field, is open to the public yea round. All fields can be rented and reserved for special events, pending approval from

GFL provides trash pickup for the City of Temple every Friday. The pick up date can vary if there is a holiday. Please refer to GFL's trash schedule for pick up dates:

City Council Meetings take place the first Monday of every month, unless that date falls on a holiday.  Council meetings take place at 6:30PM at the Temple Senior Center, 280 Rome St. 

There is a Council Committees Meeting the last Monday of every month, unless that date falls on a holiday. Committees meetings take place at 5:30PM at the Temple Senior Center, 280 Rome St.
