"1ST SPRING TEMPLE GARDEN CLUB PLANT SALE & ART FESTIVAL"
This year the garden club will be 75 years old and it's been decided to have a festival (fund raiser) on the garden club lot Saturday, March 27th from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We are looking for artist's to submit items for consideration - pottery, paintings, wood items, etc. (we prefer garden or nature related items). The garden club members will be selling plants, seeds, birdhouses, etc.

No-Perishable Food Donations needed for Elementary School Backpacks - Please Donate at City Hall.
This program was set up to help children Elementary age that might not have a parent at home with them and are low income. Each Friday 15 children at Temple Elementary will get to take a bag of food and drink home that is easy fix or ready to eat. Items include Fruit Drinks, Juices, Fruit, individual fruit cups, jello, snack cakes, grits, oatmeal, pop tarts, basically items that they can eat without help. Bags are packed every Friday morning at City Hall and are took to the Elementary school to be distributed. Volunteer help as well as donations are badly needed to keep this program going. Please help take care of our Own.
